se llevaron a cabo las <b>II Jornadas
sobre el Delta del río Paraná:
problemáticas socioculturales de las
islas desde las Ciencias Sociales</b>,
en el auditorio del Pabellón de
Agronegocios de la Facultad de
Agronomía de la Universidad de Buenos
Aires (FAUBA).</p>

align="left">El evento reunió a
referentes académicos y profesionales
que trabajan en diversas áreas
relacionadas con las islas,
provenientes de universidades
públicas, el CONICET (Consejo Nacional
de Investigaciones Científicas y
Técnicas) y el INTA (Instituto
Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria).
Durante las jornadas, se discutieron
los desafíos que enfrenta la región
del delta del Paraná, un área de vital
importancia tanto ambiental como
socioeconómica para la Argentina.</p>

align="left">El vicedecano de la
FAUBA, <b>Flavio Gutiérrez Boem</b>,
destacó el rol de la universidad
pública en fomentar estos espacios de
debate: “Desde la gestión alentamos
estos ámbitos donde investigadores
presentan sus resultados e
intercambian con colegas de otras
instituciones o disciplinas. La
investigación no es un hecho personal
o individual, sino que se enriquece
con la colaboración y nos parece que
la universidad pública es el espacio
apropiado para generar este tipo de
discusiones”, expresó durante la
apertura del evento.</p>

align="left">Las jornadas fueron
organizadas por <b>Sofía Astelarra,
Gimena Camarero, Brián Ferrero,
Cynthia Pizarro, Patricio Straccia y
Marcos Urcola</b>, y abordaron
temáticas claves como actividades
económicas y prácticas
socio-productivas, estilos de vida,
identidades y modos de habitar el
territorio, así como los conflictos
socio-territoriales y ambientales que
afectan al Delta.</p>
